Point-of-care diagnostics article published in PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases this week

The Bringing Diagnostic Prototypes to the Point of Care Workshop took place in Nairobi, Kenya in 2012. Researchers developing point-of-care diagnostics for low-resource settings worked alongside policy makers and clinicians from around the world to address the challenges that limit point of care diagnostics development, distribution, and implementation. PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases recently published the recommendations from conversations that emerged from the meeting, “Enabling the Development and Deployment of Next Generation Point-of-Care Diagnostics“.
